The St George Illawarra Dragons celebrated their 100th game at WIN Stadium in Wollongong at the weekend. In front of 12,087 fans, they managed to defeat the Manly Sea Eagles 12-4.

WIN Stadium (formerly Wollongong Show Ground) officially opened in 1911, and originally hosted agricultural shows and greyhound racing. It was home to the Illawarra Steelers from 1982, and then the St George Illawarra Dragons since 1998. The stadium stands proudly along the coast, at the lower end of the Wollongong CBD. The stadium underwent a $28.9 million upgrade in 2010, including the reconstruction of the western grandstand. This added an extra 6,000 to the overall capacity.

Now, the St George Illawarra Dragons play 12 rounds of their home games at WIN Stadium every season, including the Charity Shield matches (since 2014).
