Thinking of joining a gym or a sporting team, but haven’t done the research to find your most affordable options? Here’s what is on offer for you in the local Wollongong area.

If you are on campus full-time or are living close to the university, you can pick up a URAC’s Silver Membership Pass for $299 on a six-month plan, which works out at roughly $49 a month. They also have a payment plan of $56 a month direct debit, if you can’t afford the upfront costs. This gets you unlimited access to your choice of URAC Health Club and URAC member rates on personal training, lifestyle programs and facility hire.

Club Lime is located on Kiera St, Wollongong, and offers all members six-weekly fitness program updates and regular group fitness classes. For $19.50 a month on a Silver Membership, you have 24-hour access to the gym, including free parking and locker use. If you are looking for an even cheaper alternative, and are available during the off-peak times (10am-3pm Monday to Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday), you can access the gym for around $9.75 a week on their Club Lime Lite option.
