We know Game Of Thrones is your secret (or not so secret obsession) right now and we’re not judging. If you’re in denial, be on the lookout for symptoms such as a sudden lack of mondayitis, a strong longing to get home to your couch on monday nights, displays of anger and shock directed at your TV, an uncontrollable need to rant to friends, family or the person closest to you, and sudden urges to sing/hum/whistle and generally bop along to the epic theme song, which lets face it can only mean an hour of pure awesomeness.
Ticked yes to all of the above? Congratulations! You’re a GOT addict! With that in mind, here’s a little something to get you through to next weeks ep, no need to say kirimvose (that’s thank you to you normal people).
“Money buys a mans silence for a while. A bolt in the heart buys it forever.”
“It’s not easy being drunk all the time. Everyone would do it if it were easy.”
Ygritte: “Is that a palace?”
Jon Snow: “It’s a windmill…”
“I asked him how can a man be brave if he is afraid? That is the only time a man can be brave, he told me.”
“There’s a king in every corner now”
Joffrey: I’ll tell you what, I’m going to give you a present. After I raise my armies, and kill your traitor brother, I’ll give you his head as well.
Sansa: “Or maybe he’ll give me yours.”
“Tell Lord Tywin Winter is coming for him. Twenty thousand northerners marching South to find out if he really does sh*t gold.”
Syrio: What do we say to the God of death?
Arya: Not today.
“When you play the game of thrones you win or you die. There is no middle ground.”
“Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armour and it can never be used to hurt you.”
Missandei: Valar Morghulis
Daenerys: Yes. All men must die, but we are not men.
“So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the king. Obey the king. Obey your father. Protect the innocent. Defend the weak. What if your father despises the king? What if the king massacres the innocent?”
“Stick ’em with the pointy end.”
“There is a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand.”
-Ser Jorah Mormont
“Secrets are worth more than silver or sapphires.”
