Over two-thirds of UOW’s students are from outside the Illawarra region; 30 percent of UOW students are from overseas and this year UOW welcomes 1,570 new International students.
The day will be hosted by Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery, who will be joined by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Joe Chicharo, local Indigenous Elder Uncle Richard Davis and many other community representatives.
