Art students from West Wollongong TAFE are worried about budget cuts to arts programs.
Artist, Kate Morris told the Illawarra Mercury the cuts would mean not being able to hire nude models for the classes.
Ms Morris says that the models are essential for the students to learn about the body and its shape. She believes these cuts are just the start of removing the arts courses all together.
A spokeswoman from the NSW Depatment of Education has hit back at these claims telling the Illawarra Mercury, the allergations are un true and the West Wollongong TAFE is still committed to providing arts programs for it’s students.
