Competitors of all ages are currently in the midst of preparation for the upcoming TritheGong Triathlon and Multisport Festival presented by RMB Lawyers.

It is the second year the event has been running and will be held this weekend, 10th and 11th of March around the Wollongong harbour precinct.

Proceeds of the event go towards the Illawarra Disability Trust, a local fund that seeks to provide services and support for people with disabilities and their families.

Executive Manager of the Trust, Matt Martin says the community involvement will really help the charity fund.

Competitors Brad Beeksma and Brad Ulph, both students at the University of Wollongong have participated in triathlon events previously at various locations and are excited to be participating in TritheGong.
